I am an individualized study tutor for CRJS 495, Sex Crimes as well as SOCI 339, Sociology of War & Armed Conflict. I also instruct, via distance learning, with Lethbridge College in the Bachelor of Professional Arts – Criminal Justice program. I joined AU in 2014 and am currently in my 23rd year with the Correctional Service of Canada, the majority of which I have been a manager. I have worked at five different institutions across Canada at the minimum, medium and maximum security levels. I have completed assignments at Regional Headquarters as well as National Headquarters. I was deployed to Kosovo as part of Canada’s effort to assist in the rebuilding of the Kosovo Correctional Service in 2001. I have been awarded a number of medals that form part of the National Honours system including the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal, the NATO Medal for Kosovo, the Canadian Decoration and the Corrections Exemplary Service Medal. I was an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves for 12 years in the Cadet Instructor Cadre Branch.
